Thank you for your interest in becoming a certificated substitute for the R.N.R. District!
Please download the RNR Guide and Information packet as well as the RNR application. Read them in their entirety and fill out the application once you are ready to begin.

Please be sure to include these documents (if applicable) with your application:
a. Temporary County Certificate (TCC) or a detailed copy of your permit/credential;
The TCC is a temporary authorization that allows you to work while the document is reviewed and granted by The Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). Once granted notify the district(s) applied to and provide each district with the copy of the granted document.
b. County-Wide Substitute Fingerprint Clearance notice provided by KCSOS (white 1/2 sheet);
c. TB verification;
d. Completed medical examination (applicable to first-time teachers or substitutes);
e. Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act Training Certificate;
f. Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Certificate;
g. Information Necessary for Substitute Teaching form;
h. Additional documentation required by a district or KCSOS program(s).
Returning Substitutes
If you are returning to our district, please note the following:
- You must reapply via link sent in the end of year e-mail, or paper application, and be current with KCSOS in order to be reactivated.
- All subs are deactivated from Frontline at the end of the school year. If you have reapplied and fulfilled all requirements, your account will be reactivated once processed.
- If you are unable to log into your account, and you submitted your application. Please wait until a minimum of 1 week to contact the district. You will receive a welcome e-mail once your account has been reactivated.
