WELCOME NORRIS FAMILIES!

SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024

It's time to complete your Free and Reduce Meal Application for the 2023-2024 School Year!

For the second consecutive year, through California's Universal Meal Program, all students will be offered breakfast and lunch at no charge during their school day. We are asking families to complete the 2023-24 Free & Reduced-Price Meal Applications, as NSD State and Federal Revenue depends on the return of this form. Please complete the meal application here for your District to receive the needed funding to serve our students at no cost.

Completing this application may also include additional benefits, such as:

  • Help qualify students or families for additional rounds of Pandemic-EBT (P-EBT) cards.
  • Help qualify families for the temporary Emergency Broadband Program (EBB).
  • May reduce your student's registration fees for other programs.
  • Ensure Norris School District will receive the maximum funding allocations possible.

Two factors are considered in the application process: household size and total household income. HOUSEHOLD SIZE is all persons-related or unrelated, including children, parents, and grandparents living in your home and share living expenses. TOTAL HOUSEHOLD INCOME is income each household member receives before taxes-including wages, SSI benefits, pension, unemployment, welfare, child support, alimony and any other cash income. You may also resubmit your application at any time if your income changes.

ALL information on this application is kept confidential! You need only one form for your entire family. Remember, breakfast and lunch for the 2023-2024 School Year will be free to all students enrolled with Norris School District, regardless of eligibility; However, we greatly appreciate every family completing this application to assist with District funding.

Thank you for taking the time to help. Have a great school year!

Best,
